CJ BROCKWAY, IALD, MIES

Principal

With over 23 years of experience as an architectural lighting designer, CJ has also served as a theatrical designer, lighting installer and controls programmer, sales agent, and art lighting specialist. She has been leader of a large design studio, and has won over twenty illumination awards with the IES in the USA and in China. She has served as an adjunct instructor of Lighting Design at Cornish College of the Arts, and currently teaches as part of the University of Washington College of Built Environments.

SUSAN BROCKWAY

Manager

Having managed her own interior design business for 30+ years, Susan’s expertise ranges from client relations to practice management. She is a color specialist and space planner who brings her strengths to SparkLab’s organizational management.

SUSANNAH SCOTT, A.IALD, MIES

Lighting Designer

Susannah has been an event and stage lighting designer, controls programmer, and project manager. She has specialized in interior and exterior corporate events and galas, concerts and trade shows. In addition to conveying concepts and delivering on lighting design vision, she has been responsible for managing budgetary, scope and timeline expectations. Susannah’s experience emphasizes a hands-on approach and methodical documentation process. When modeling light or performing calculations, Susannah reveals an exceptional understanding of how light works in three-dimensional space.

JESSICA TRUNDY

Lighting Designer

A theatrical and architectural lighting designer, Jessica brings a dramatic eye and a keen understanding of how light affects a person’s mood and perception. From logical lighting control design to beautifully lit artwork, Jessica’s breadth of knowledge on the mechanics and behavior of light is put to practice in many project types, but especially SparkLab’s residential work.
